Host-Patron Transactions
Copanyon facilitates connections between hosts and patrons. We act solely as a technology provider and are not a party to the transactions between users. Hosts are responsible for the sessions they offer, and patrons are responsible for their purchasing decisions.
Billing Currency
Copanyon supports payments in USD, EUR, and GBP. Any display of prices in your local currency is provided for informational purposes only. The final charge will be processed in the currency selected at checkout.
Fees and Taxes
The following fees apply to transactions on Copanyon:
- Credit Purchase Fee (5%) — A 5% booking fee is charged to guests at the time of purchase.
- Copanyon Host Fee (10%) — A 10% fee is deducted from hosts at the time of payout.
All fees are disclosed in advance before you complete a transaction.
Credits
Credits are valued at $1 USD per credit and are used to book sessions on the platform. Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
Session Duration
Sessions include a short intermission period for hosts between bookings:
- A 1-hour session has an effective duration of 50 minutes.
- A 30-minute session has an effective duration of 25 minutes.
Session Cancellations
- 12+ hours before the session — Full refund of credits to the patron.
- Less than 12 hours before the session — Refund requires the host's consent.
- Host cancels at any time — Full refund of credits to the patron.
Refunds
- Refunds are not automatically provided.
- Each refund request is evaluated on a case-by-case basis at Copanyon's discretion.
- Refunds are not issued for dissatisfaction with session content.
- Credit balance refunds may be requested within 90 days of purchase.
Payouts
Hosts can withdraw their earnings via Stripe with a minimum withdrawal amount of $20. A 10% Copanyon Host Fee plus any applicable merchant processor fees are deducted from each payout.
Chargebacks
If a chargeback is initiated against your account, your account may be suspended pending investigation. You are responsible for any fees incurred as a result of a chargeback.
Expired Accounts
Accounts that have been inactive for 180 or more days may be suspended. Any remaining credits on suspended accounts will expire.
